Order Delivery Woes

I'm tempted to not use OCUK after this fiasco...

Monday - Ordered Item / Deliv set for Wednesday
Tuesday - Ask to move delivery to Thursday, they say "Ok that's all done for you"
Thursday - Doesn't Arrive, i rang up, they said sorry it never left the warehouse - Promise Delivery Today
Friday - Get a call at 9am, "Sorry it didn't leave the warehouse best i can do is Saturday delivery" Re-arranged for Saturday

If it doesn't turn up tomorrow, i am not going to be a happy camper.

Worst thing was it cost £14 for delivery as it was "Before 12pm"

Fire your warehouse guys, they obviously aren't doing their jobs.
 
Very unusual mate, been ordering from OCUK for over a decade and genuinely never had an issue with delivery. They'll get it sorted for you though :)

Demand extra Haribo!
 
Never had an issue with shipping, small orders or large it always arrives next day or at worst the day after for free.
 
Well it was a Buy Now Pay Later, so the delivery is tied into the credit agreement, having worked in these before i cant see a delivery refund being easy.
 
I have no idea how many orders OCUK do a day, but I am guessing it's a couple of hundred plus.


To get one problem, a problem that was caused by it being a request slightly out of the ordinary, that put another layer of fallibility in the process...

That's no bad is it?

Yes and if it had only been one error i would have been ok with it, but they apologized for the error and said it would definitely be here today between 9-12 and they rung me and said "Oops it wont be there till saturday"

don't they get a courier truck dropped off every night and the old one picked up?

It's probably a few thousand orders a day at the very least.

anyway I expect the financial arrangement is what has really delayed the order

No it wasnt the finance as it was originally next day delivery, and they rang and said, "The finance will delay the order by 1 day"
 
Baffles me how people need finance but then pay £14 for next day!

Either way you should have expected finance to slow your order up a bit.
