I have an itch in my wallet and was wondering, is this the best 780 ? I know it's not the cheapest right now at OCUK, but if/when it comes on offer, would it be the best choice for a 780? In this review, the guy seems to like it.

I heard the guy in the video say that it's stock clock was low. However, he alluded to the fact that because of the superb cooling, the GPU Boost was better compared to other cards as GPU Boost is linked to temps and not clocks.

Also, in that Hexus review, it says it overclocks like a dream.

Seems like a winner to me unless I'm missing something.

Asus warranty !!! lol...

I really like the Asus cards but they are pricey for what you get over other cards, still that back plate is lush & I'd swap mine for it just for the looks alone...

Get it if you have the cash ! By the looks of it you maybe the 1st ?

Looks like a nice card and Direct-CU coolers have a good reputation minus the regular 3-slot design. But price wise, I've found OCUK rather expensive..

im thinking about swapping my gainward for it myslef. i think that if youre not much to oveclocking and want to have cool and quiet card get it without even thinking about it. but if you want to overclock wait for msi lightning or evga classified. possibly two best for overclocking.

Classified, likely when ever the yanks have got bored of them and EVGA realise they have a European market.

Lightnings 07/08/2013.

Don't expect either to be cheap!!

looking to upgrade my graphics soon, at the mo 6970 x3 but not sure weather to go for 780 sli. I like surround game exspeanace :-)

the 780 look great and i would plan to water-cooled them anyway.
