At least with it being an AMD sponsored game, nVidia can't have a hissyfit and have DX11.1 coding patched out like they did with Assassin's Creed and DX10.1

Sooooo, if my GTX 680 Win 7 System is unfairly disadvantaged (benchmarks will be interesting), then I can sell my BF4 Key and move on to something else like Titan Fall of Arma 3?
Not a huge issue for me....but somehow I can't see it happening. Maybe our Win 8/AMD brethren will get some FPS gains, but as long as I get consistent, high frame rates, I couldn't care less.

What wrong with it? 8.1 you get a start button back, dont like that start you can get a custom one. You can now have Windows 8 boot to desktop and not metro.
With Windows 8 you get better performance so what else is they to hate on it?
Not being a fanboy here I also went back to Windows 7, but soon jumping back to Win8.

But you can very well use Windows 8 just like Windows 7 with the Added bonus of performance and maybe soon Game performance boost with dx11.1
A simple tweak and you can remove Metro if so be it. Now with 8.1 you can have start, and also boot to desktop so by rights you dont really need to see Metro again.

Look Crysis 3 looks much better than 2 and also performs better. So its defo possible Could be better running "hopefully"

well it was £15 when it was released so if you had some foresight it was almost free.
