I think moyes is still in everton mode. A £25-35m bid would show the fans ambition at everton but he is playing with the big boys now. Two weeks before the start of season and he's still sticking with his bid.

Wack in a £45-50m bid if you are serious, that would test the waters.

Harry Rednapp was already saying what a good addition he'd be to QPR - looks like the lure of the premier league was enough to have him come our way!

Why doesn't it look that way? Our activity suggests it would be the case.

Otherwise they're just hilariously stupid bidding a low price for a player who would never want to leave.

Could be the agent doing it, maybe. We'll find out.

I doubt we will, the only way that's going to happen is if fab comes out and says he wants to stay. Even then you could just say barca wanted to sell.

Your activity doesn't suggest anything, you bid three times got rejected on three times. And those bids weren't very serious or realistic for a player who has improved upon his arsenal days.

Fab will return from holiday soon so maybe we will find out the truth

It has taken about 7 months of trying! It all seemed to have gone cold a couple of weeks ago.

I guess it's not fashionable enough to talk about smaller clubs? I'll clear off and leave you all to talk about Suarez!

I agree our bids were too low, but there have only been 2 (that we know of), not 3.

Hooper is very highly rated so it'll be interesting to see how he does for you. Thank god he didn't go to QPR.

it's obvious he's made for a bigger stage and that's real madrid. i just feared we'd have 5 pages of robbo dreaming he may go to united 'cos he hasn't signed a new deal'. he will go to madrid, i don't think it will be this summer though so can you please move onto modric to united.

I'm talking about him going to Real Madrid. I don't think we'll get him. Not that I'd mind.

I hardly think I've done much wrong with Fabregas either, I've merely stated that I don't think we'll get him, but it's possible.

I'm not sure what you are getting upset about. Surely even you know that you're nothing compared to Real Madrid.

I'd quite like Modric though, for sure.
