Battlefield 4 Running DirectX 11.1 Could Give Radeon HD 7000 an Edge

Never any artefact type problems with any AMD card I've owned. The only issues I've had were with the initial 7970 drivers in a couple of games, which were resolved.

Nvidia do have terrible drivers. Every NVIDIA card I have ever owned has been complete junk. I will never buy NVIDIA again. I want to enjoy games and be immersed within the game I am playing, getting massive texture issues and white speckles doesn't cut it for me so I bought a 7950OC and am super pleased with it.

Just like my Mac Mini and iMac, it simply just works, completely trouble free and I am enjoying gaming again.

I had bf3 corruption using the 320's on a 670, i knew it was those drivers as i had just installed them, so i went back to 314's and no corruption, No damage to my card what so ever.

I wont be using any 320's unless i read they are fixed.

Look at post #61, I didn't mention it but others did.

I hate ATI with a passion. I would rather pay Nvidia double for the same performance, just to ensure I have trouble free gaming.

I have been shafted by ATi for the last time.

ATI does not exist, It hasn't for a few generations. So you are slightly behind with the times and are incorrect on many of the things you seem to write.

I see a post from a user who dont have a clue about drivers from Both Nvidia and AMD "This GEN"

Because Amd driver have been anything from Superb.

AMD drivers this gen have been 100% better than the nvidiai counter parts. No dead cards on AMDs side of the camp this gen....

Artificial speed boost to force people into downgrading to a failing pointless tablet OS on desktop.

What are you on?

I never said they didn't exist, merely they are wrong.

No mate. You are Wrong.

Myself have had more AMD driver issues than Nvidia, But that's down to not using a Nvidia card for more than a week since the 8800GTX.

I've never had a issue with nvidia drivers ever. Just your bad luck I guess.

Sorry mate , but this does sound like AMD fanboy talk. I've had both AMD and Nvidia and tbh I like both. It doesn't matter to me. I picked Nv this time around.

Priceless mate, LOL, I get it! :D

Agreed. Start8 all the way for me.

Once you learn the ins and outs of win 8 you dont need that start button anymore. While it takes a bit of time to get use to the Modern UI its actually nice to be able to fully customize your "start menu" and i for one is a bit sad the damn button will return in 8.1, though the rest of the changes are more than welcome like boot directly to desktop.

Regarding Battlefield 4 i do hope they have better CPU utilization this time around. Back to Karkand was brutal on full 64 player maps. Also the damn suppression has to change mechanics. It sucks how you are rewarded for bad aiming and last but not least, hit detection.. one can only hope..

So you think his comments sound like fanboy talk but the other guy's aren't?

spoffle the one question I would like answered as we need your input on this is

AMD make a lot of 2gb cards which people use in xfire, should they upgrade to 3gb cards. As we know 2 x AMD 2gb cards in xfire are faster the the HD 79xx single cards.

Is it no longer ok to buy 2gb AMD cards ?

The brand is irrelevant, its about 384 bit/3GB v 256 bit/2GB, the brand does not change those fact and im sure people will be advised accordingly of the possible short comings of buying Multi GPU 256 bit/2GB cards at the present time.
