So unfortunately for my wallet, I have got an upgrade itch, frankly it's quite bad to the point of I am dreaming about graphics cards! WTF?!
So for my sanity or what little is left i am going to buy myself a new card..
Now from reading websites, forums, I am looking at a 7950. Now the question is which one!
I will be overclocking it, I play at 1080p, I got an over clock 2500k and a lovely 650watt psu..and a fractal r3 case.
Now I have narrow my search to 4 cards,
1) sapphire 7950 vapour x
2) msi 7950 TFIII boast edition (new revision)
3) his 7950 iceq x2 boast
4) his 7950 iceq boast

Now I just wanted opinions on which card would be better (on average). I would prefer a quiet ish one and I do use headphones but I still wouldn't want a leaf blower in my system..
Many thanks

The HIS one is normally recommended. Although it's a blower, it's apparently very quiet (that's backed up in the reviews, not just hearsay).

The MSI is a little bit cheaper and a bit prettier.

I've got the TFIII boost edition, the revised model, pretty good card so far, It plays most games really well, at 1080p you going to be good for a while in terms of card lifespan, it literally is just down to looks, which, lets face it, the twin frozr III is the better looking card.

Lightnings Twin Frozr IV is the sexiest. Either 7970, 680 or 770. It's one beautiful card:D

Unless you are wanting to go crossfire then I would take the MSI card over the HIS and Sapphire cards as it has the longer warranty 3 years Vs 2.

Driver wise it is extremely unlikely that you will have any issues.

Don't forget the Gigabyte WF 7950, excellent card, very quiet and cool (with good case cooling) and uk Rma. Don't pay any attention to craptakular, he doesn't know what he's talking about and I suspect he's trolling. Sadly Ocuk are very pricey on the Gigabyte card for some reason. :)

3 if you want the best overclocking, 4 if you want the most balanced.

Well I bit the bullet and got the vapour-x..

Now looking at overclockers, i have notice there are 2 other sapphire cards, the boast and the dual flex x.. Apart from clock speeds and coolers can someone just give me a simple answer with the differences between these cards? I have tried to look for websites to compare all 3 of them side by side, but can't find any..
Many thanks

Good choice. Very cool and quiet. There's very little difference than the ones you mentioned. If any.

Ahh it's Boost not boast!! Haha :p

TBH very little difference between all those cards. The Flex is only for people who are hooking up 3 monitors or more for eyefinity, the Vapor X is the best for cooling so you have chosen well!

Well I already had some 7950 on my hands, Reference one from HIS, the Iceq from HIS and the MSI TFIII.

in my opnion the MSI TFIII is the best of them in general, the HIS Iceq cooler is really good and quiet but you need to remember that it uses 2.5 slots, so you if you are going to Crossfire you need at least 3 slots between the cards.

I have 2 MSI TFIII in crossfire, I had to replace them when I bought but after that they never gave me any problems.

Well got the card up and running. It's a beast of a thing. Not much chance to oc it yet. Did an Asci (what ever the letters are lol)
And I got 59%!! I thought the vapour x was suppose to be a slightly higher quality chip ? Or did I dream that?
Going to guess this card won't oc that well then with low ish voltage
