Top Gear (Series 20) Returns Sunday 30th June 2013

Apart from specials, that was up there with the best of the "normal" TG episodes. Epic car features, (rubbish SIARPC) and genuine laughs at the caravanning segment :D

It would only have been better if they had sent Liv instead of her Dad.
 
I still can't get over James May getting the back end out of the Porsche!

That Sesto Elemento - carbon gorgeousness. If I had more money than sense, every car I'd own would be made of carbon - it's. just. so. hnng.

Tyler was vacuous though - and reminded me why I don't have any Aerosmith, and why AC/DC are a much better band :cool:
 
I got woken up by the unholy sound of high revving F1 engines yesterday, then remembered Top Gear were filming a segment for a new episode 5 mins walk from my house in Central Milton Keynes.

Ran across to have a look and aw 3 F1 cars up close going round a tiny street circuit. Was a truly epic sight which made me smile for the rest of the day. :)

Last night's episode was excellent too. The caravan sketch was spot on with some genuine comedy moments.

The Tyler segment was embarrassing. Imagine bragging about owning the world's fastest car then exhibiting precisely zero track skills in the reasonably priced car.

To be slightly fair to him though, at least he didn't come to the UK solely to peddle/promote himself as he did say he'd flown in solely to be on the show.

What a fantastic machine, I've never seen Hammond having so much fun before.

Brilliant episode and the Caravan segment had my gf in stitches lol :D

HAHAHA, that is NOT news. I knew as soon as they got soaked that they would be actors, otherwise there would have been outrage that Top Gear had soaked a load of diners ****ing about.

as for last nights show was definitely back on form, I sat there either grinning or LOL'ing at the whole show.
I don't really have much to add that hasn't already been said but will at my 2p anyway
SIARPC wasn't too bad (apart from hsi driving "skills"?)
Lambo was pure pure awesome but I was disappointed when it wasn't fastest around the track.
Caravan bit was awesome and pretty much what I expected them to do, although wasn't expecting them to go cross-country'ing LMFAO, I don't think James' laugh was scripted at all which does show they do genuinely prat about sometimes.
Porsche bit was a bit meh, it seemed as though James was trying to hard to do a clarkson type review and it doesn't work, only clarkson can do a clarkson type review.

Overall I was sad when show ended need more of that :D
 
Top Gear using Actors Shocka! :D

It's called Entertainment people! Of course they're not going to be doing stuff like that without people consenting, they'd be sued left right and centre.

If the show wasn't scripted it wouldn't be half as funny as it is.
 
The Lambo, that noise.

BUT! I have to say the Singer was my fav car. The new 911 is just fab as well.

I really enjoyed last nights episode. The lambo and the old (very new) Porsche was awesome.

had top gear really ruined a restaurant like that you can bet the Daily Fail would be outraged calling for the show to be banned citing how much damage it caused.

TG seriously can't win.
