£500-600 gaming PC

Hi guys,

Looking for a new self build PC which will be mainly for gaming. Have around £500-600 but could stretch to £650 if it's really going to add life span to the machine.

I really want it to be as quiet as possible too. Perhaps there are special cases to reduce noise output?

I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and OS.

The 612S is mahoosive being 163mm tall, the case (due to the sound proofing) takes a max of 158mm. Easy mistake to make

You'd have the same problem with the CM Silencio cases too. Most of the popular coolers are 160mm tall.

Also I'd never suggest a 7870. The 7870LEs (Tahiti cores) are priced very close and can be OC'd to match a 7950 which makes them THE best bang for buck GPUs

You have to go to £200 for a 7870LE don't you? Once you get to £200 the 7950s with the games sold off get very good value.
