Weren't you posting a couple of days ago you were so sure he was joining you bet a fair sum of money on it? Don't see why they shouldn't believe there is a chance Cesc could go.
Maybe as an Arsenal fan - a team the player in question doesn't even play for - you should do the same? Why are you even reading Redcafe? United fans don't even read Redcafe!

What would you like them to move on to. I am still holding a teeny weeny hope that we get Fabregas but no more than that. We haven't been linked to anyone else at all this window.
Modric and Fellaini are both completely media backed rumours. I find it a little strange that you think United fans should move onto nothing rather than the only transfer that we appear to have actually pursued regardless of how unlikely it is.
As others have said, you don't make 3 bids without something giving you hope of a deal. Moyes also wouldn't be well advised to pull a fast one and use this as a delaying tactic to placate the United fans till the end of the window in leu of a star name actually coming in.
Going on a United fan forum in pursuit of fans that think Fabregas is still likely is like shooting fish in a barrel. I'm sure in the next few days it will all be cleared up and we will move onto other targets if any.

Since I had my bet there has been a lot more firm noises coming from the Barca camp. I just don't believe in carrying on believing transfers are going to happen when they're dead in the water.
Yes I am an Arsenal fan, and don't worry, I've even had this argument with my own stupid, fellow supporters who continue to believe that we have a hope of signing Suarez.
We are a laughing stock now. It comes to something when the only hope we have of finishing above our rivals, is by hoping they sell their best players, rather than us buy our own.

I was hoping that Jack Robinson may get some game time this year. I don't really know anything about this guy either, he must not be very valuable to Benfica though as he is going out on loan.

As usual the media are just being complete ***** and trying to create friction and anger towards the manager.
Of course he likes to get transfers done early in the window but when you buy a player there tends to be something called "his current club" you have to deal with. No one wants to get transfers done on the last day and yet they still happen. That obviously makes the managers involved complete idiots.
He only looks like an idiot to people who are idiots themselves and cannot interpret or understand that he is just being honest.
Like the Rooney incident, what Moyes said and meant are polar opposites to what the media wanted to hear so they just misinterpreted them and selectively quoted him to paint him in a bad light.
I resent the press so much. All the constant talking, praising, over rating, creative license they use in the sun and the mirror to get the masses whipped up into a frenzy. Bale isn't that good, Suarez isn't that good, yet you ask around the uk and you'd more likely than not be told that both are world class, it's absurd. Suarez has one good season, Bale has a few moments (he had very few good 90 minutes last season, became more and more wasteful and less a team player)

When the barca deal fell throug they should have just let him go. Are we going to get anything for him next year? His contract is up soone Listen to what pepe has said about how liverpool have treated him during the transfer window. He's been a vey good servant and dislike the way hes been treated.

We bought Mignolet because Reina gave the club the impression he was off. As soon as Valdes said he was staying for a final year Reina backtracked and said he would like to stay. Tough luck imo.
