Oh stats, stats say it all
I remember stats that said Nani was better than Ronaldo. They were right then too...
I never said Bale was the better player.

No, but you're still using stats to prove he's better at something. Which is just as funny
Please see the picture above, to show how stats mean nothing in football a lot of the time. Especially to compare players
Those stats don't say he's the better player though, they only cover 3 things.
cm1179....is that you?
So you avoid what I'm saying? I never once suggested stats tell you the whole picture on which player is better but they certainly help figuring out who's better in certain areas.
Yes, but what I'm saying is, you're taking the stats as the be all and end all for deciding whether or not a player is better at something than another player. And you can't see past them
I don't know about that, if he goes for £100mil+ they could pick up a few world class signings.
Well when we questioned your logic in suggesting he was better in those areas, your only response was to quote some stats, so what else was I to think about how much you're looking into those stats?
If it's your opinion, why not tell us why he's a better crosser etc in your own opinion, rather than some stats

I'd prefer to give some solid evidence over an opinion that will just be shot down straight away by the obvious bale haters in this thread.
And that's your problem, it's not solid evidence, they're not even playing in the same league for a start. Nice try though
