US: Suits (probably will contain spoilers)

Possible Spoiler?

During the mini break in Season 2 (between the last few episodes) there was a a quick advert for season 3 and it had Mike hooked up to a polygraph with Louis screaming at him "did you go to Harvard?" so I'm guessing that the Mike/Louis break-up will push him into being the original jerk he was at the start and he'll concentrate on destroying Mike for going back to Harvey after saying he'd stay with Louis.

I'm starting to dislike Mike kind of.
I'm disliking how Loius is getting put down, as at times I do like the character.

I think Mike should have stayed with Loius, at least for a year.

Me too.

Litt seems like a good guy at heart, if anything trying too hard to be liked but it would be nice to see what Mike can learn from him at least for a year, plus to shake up the dynamics of the show a bit.

Mate said I should watch this too, just wondered if anyone can say if it is better than Mad Men?...Not watched either not sure which to watch.

Also is Suits on any of the Netflix regions?

Almost finished the first season and I'm loving it.

I'd say the only similarities between the two are New York and the epic suits. Watch both. They're very different shows.

I'm up to date now.

The romance/sex side of things is too much. It's pandering to the opposite sex a little too much now.

The depiction of the English was just insulting really. (And I'm Welsh).

I'll keep watching but they need to pull some more tricks / have a great story lined up this season. The first season was great due to rooting for the small-time screw-up secret genius but it's lost that narrative a little now. If the best they can do is keep the Daniel Hardman's coming in different guises with various mergers/aquisitions/takeovers/coups then I'm going to get bored quickly.

I seriously want to be a lawyer with a glamourous vinyl collection now though. :(

Oh, also, the movie references - getting annoying.

To be fair most American films/TV always portray the English as the bad guys, I wouldn't hold it against the show. I will agree that the development of the romance between Mike and Rachel seemed a bit forced and what happened didn't make that much sense.

I was a bit gutted for Litt at the end of the last episode and you just know he's gonna go nuclear on Mike now. Shame really because he's a very funny character when he's not mad.

They actually started to develop Litt into more than "I'm Angry at everyone" hardass cliche he was in the First season but now I feel like he will just go on the warpath and turn into old angry Litt.

It's a shame. Having Mike working for Litt for a few episodes would have shown a different side to things in the firm - it would have been an interesting story point. They do seem determined to keep Litt as a side-character / minor antagonist.

The last episode they did it too much IMO but previously it has been fine and the references have occasionally been humorous.

As they have really finished the story from season 2 in that the merger has gone ahead, Mike and Harvey have made up I hope they go back to more season 1 style than 2. Though I fear with Harvey gunning for Jessica that it will be a rehash of season two’s scheming and backstabbing just with Harvey against Jessica rather than Jessica and Harvey against Hardman.

Though I wonder how many more GoT actors will star in Suits.

I'm almost certain Harvey has a plan other than ousting Jessica. More than likely he wants everyone to think that's what he's attempting rather than what will actually happen - a Pearson Spectre sign eventually hanging over the entrance. Purely speculation on my part, of course!

I agree with you, I think it's part of a plan to get rid of Darby.
