Hi guys.

Cooked myself a pretty standard chicken curry, with rice. Anyway decided to try to make it a little different tonight!

Did you get much sweetness coming through the curry?

Actually yeah. The rice soaked up some of the pineapple juice and it was nice. The curry was quite spicey and the sweet juice of the pineapple took the edge off the heat whilst allowing you to still taste the actual spices. If that makes sense.

It's always nice when you try something different and it works :)
 
If it was 1/2 a pineapple it would have looked better - good attempt though.

I'm a fan of using scallop shells for seafood starters etc but not sure I'd be doing this when hosting a dinner party
