Is This a Good PC

A 640 is a really crappy card :)

If you're getting an nvidia 700 series card later it doesn't matter what you get now, but under £100 you can't beat AMD for performance.

If you plan on changing the 640 for a pair of high end cards, then that build looks fine.

Depending on the gfx cards you want to add, the PSU may be overkill though.

The other option, due to the graphics card being a temporary solution, would be to find something like a used GTX 560. Will perform better than the other options and keep it's value better for when you more on.

A 7790 will easily outperform a GTX 560 :)

I never noticed you mention a 7790 to be honest, though personally I'd still go down the used GPU route if I knew I'd be upgrading it soon. As a 560 can be had for around the £50 mark used.

I suggested the 7790 as it was roughly the same price as the 650ti originally intended.

I'd not be happy getting a high end machine with any of these cards though, even for a couple of months. You'd have to put recent games on medium to low settings to be playable at 1080p.
