Nine Inch Nails are back!

Although the new album isn't out till next week, NIN have released the album in full, streaming in various places.

iTunes
Deezer (whatever that is)
The Guardian

Only two tracks in, and I am happy so far.

Very unsure on the album as a whole, with the exception of Various Methods of Escape which I absolutely adore.

Saw them at the Scala in london last week, and Rock En Sein in Paris at the weekend. Absolutely killer live act. Awesome up close in London and an absolutely mindblowing performance in Paris.

Worth it for the first two tracks alone. I'm really starting to enjoy the modular synth stuff now. So catchy and well produced. Haven't listened to the album as a whole enough yet.

I know there are one or two weak tracks on this album but so far I have listend properly up to 'Dissapointed' and it's as awesome as I was hoping!

Edit*

Other than 'Everything' album is awsome (9/10 - Would be 10/10 other than that track...)!

Hair standing up on the back of my neck. Why oh why didn't I think of getting tickets to see them whilst they were in UK?

Edit:-
WOW, I just watched the Japan one posted earlier in this thread - ****s all over the Reading one, they really must have messed it for him.

Also, this:-

FINALLY! I'm sure someone on these forums suggested releasing two versions of an album as an antidote to the loudness wars. Trust NIN to take the lead on that.

I did have the album on order from Amazon, but when I saw that I thought why not get it from NIN.com, and see what the two mixes are like.

So far I have only listened to the audiophile master (FLAC version), so I can't yet compare, but one thing I will note, the file sizes of the audiophile version are smaller than the standard mix (771,690kb compared to 786,718kb for the album)

Thread revival because got an email regarding tickets for next years tour going on sale this week. Presale tickets will be available from http://tour.nin.com tomorrow at 9am. Standard tickets go on sale on Friday.

Presale ticket holders get early entry into the venue. A band called Cold Cave are opening each date. No idea who they are though, but they sound kind of 80's.

I would have loved to see NIN. I look at the europe dates..... so Europe is 6 dates in the UK and one in italy :( meh ! might see if I can get some O2 tickets and go back to London for the weekend.

Tempted to get tickets for the wife as an Xmas gift if I can. To be fair though I'm not much of a fan and she's seen them before so not sure. Hmmmm.

I love PHM, and 1-2 tracks from every other album but that's about it but I imagine the ones I like will be the ones that are mostly played.
Still, she said (admittedly not knowing NIN were touring) that after we seen Depeche Mode in Leeds last week (which was immense) than the only band she would bother travelling etc to see live no would be Skinny Puppy.

But then she never mentioned Dead Can Dance and I paid over the odds to take her to Royal Albert Hall and she said it was the best gig she's ever been to. So maybe worth a punt anyway - I'm sure she will appreciate it.
