On my second rig i have a amd 955be, Asus M5A99X EVO with 8gig and a 7870.

I feel the need to upgrade this box as it's my work box. Which i do some 3d, programming and a little gaming.

I was thinking of getting another 3570k and a mobo to put it in. then i noticed my board can take a 8350. so........? what should i do?

Honestly this isn't a troll bait thread i need advice

Depends on budget.

Chepeast option is the 8320 / 8350

More expensive option but over all a faster platform would be a Haswell (mobo and cpu)

If you are only a casual gamer then most likely an 8320 would be the ideal choice. It wont set you back much. But the upgrade will only be felt in multi core aware apps.

thanks for the advise i think im going to save a bit of cash and get the 8350. enjoy the rep+

Ok so i got the 8350 and im quite happy with the power increase. so ive put a hyper 212 evo on it to keep it cool. Prime95 smallfft is giving me a temp of 58c. is that ok? ambient temps are about 26c, bloody weird summer this year in england
