lot's of talk that spurs have listened to rm's offer, be it £80m or £104m some astronomical amount and they haven't been able to come up with proof of funds.

there is also conflicting talk that rm haven't made a bid at all and it's all snowballed media reports and that bale is not actually going anywhere and is in talks with spurs and his folks about a new contract.

i've no idea what to believe. if he's not in the squad on saturday, i'd lean towards he is going. if he is, get it done, get the cash. sign others.

Well Ancelotti has confirmed they're in talks trying to "find a solution" so it's fair to assume a bid will have been made. Whether the figures are accurate is another matter entirely but there's no doubt Madrid will be trying to get him to force his way out so they have to pay as little as possible.

And Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, addressing a news conference from his club's tour of the United States, has confirmed for the first time that talks over a transfer are under way.
