Just seeing dozens upon dozens of police cars and vans going both ways down my road including ARVs. Police helicopter has been around for about 40 mins too.

Is probably in direction response to events in Moscow than any specific threat that is that potentially severe they've had to take such drastic action. I think that article has more to do with creating a climate of fear in the public to shift the focus away from their intrusion and to attempt to justify it. I fully expect them to shortly announce a 'major incident' has been diverted through the combined powers of NSA and GCHQ snooping or rather an allusion to such.
