Hi There,

I'm having real trouble finding one of these that actually had decent reviews! They all seem to either only work for apples (not quite sure how that's possible but there are loads of reviews confirming the issue) or they cause so much interference some people even have trouble unlocking their cars!

There must be a number of people on here that use one on a daily basis so if I could get some recommendations of a decent reliable product that would be brilliant. Thanks.

I got one I think a couple of years ago , works great for charging my android
Think it was maplins ? I got it from

I have a Belkin dual car charger. It came with a lightening to USB cable, but I don't use that.

It has no problems with my Tomtom, Samsung Galaxy SII, Nexus 7, various dash cams. (Not all at the same time obviously, it's only a dual ;))

Search on eBay for Griffin 12v USB Adaptor, I am assuming you after an adaptor rather than a charger. For the dual port they go for around £3.50, the Mrs uses one to power her TomTom Sat Nav

Cheers. Went with Belkin, they seemed to have good reviews, a little more costly but then I guess you get what you pay for!

check the current output on the device as well
Mine delivers 2000ma (2 amps) so it charges my note 2 pretty fast

We have sold various cheap ones at work and some are crap. Have found they dont always work in every socket. Just sell belkin ones now and they seem to work everytime

only work for apples

I'm fairly confused right now!?

I got a cheapy one but it does struggle to charge my phone when its using GPS & Bluetooth at the same time.

Will have to look at getting a better one

Don't think you are allowed to mention that company, I was warned for using their name previously as they are viewed as a competitor.
Depends on the context. Do OcUK sell the item in question? If they do then it's counted as a competitor but if not then it's perfectly fine.

That's the bit I don't get Sainsburys, Argos and Tesco all get mentioned and they all sell systems and peripherals thus making them a competitor regardless of context. You go to their sites and the deals all pop up regardless if you're hunting for Vanilla Coke at the time
