Upgrading TV/Internet

talk talk line rental works out under £10 a month if you pay in advance .... + £5 for the Fibre ... i'd add the £5 boost as well for anytime calls .. so works out about £20 all in a month

Wonder if I could do this and they just get the sky TV multi-room then. Should still be free installation shouldn't it.

Grr, trying to search for my postcode, house address on talktalk to see if we can get fibre optic and it keeps saying "error searching".

Just checked talktalk's site and it says "£10 extra on top of your existing package" for the fibre. Think im going to just switch to sky and keep using the adsl with 10-19mb.

Just phoned them up. For the first 12 months its £5 extra month and the last 6 months its £10 extra. Not sure what to do. I think the sky package with the 10mb - 19mb will be good enough. Currently on just 6mb and it seems to drop to 1mb some nights.

if you log into "myaccount" the offer is at the bottom of the page ....

not sure if my link will work but try it :-

https://sales.talktalk.co.uk/product/fibre/fiver/?portalId=FIVER&wt.ac=OMA-Textlink

as far as im aware it£5 for 18 months ... thats what ive got myself

the phone guys talk bs ... in my ex house they said thisd and that on prices and I just said " i'm looking at the offer right now on the internet" , and quoted them the www

infact ... I can "upgrade to "large .. at £5 more .... and it mentions nothing about the price going up after certain months ..... which is odd as if I went and had fibre large from the start i'd pay £10 for 6 months and then £15 for the other 12

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah I did log in to the account. Think im just going to go with sky though because talktalk did say the last 6 months will go up to £10 extra. Don't really want to risk it.

I phoned them up because im aware with broadband deals they often start with a lowered price for so many months then go back up.
