Anyone have a 2013 Subaru BRZ?

i'd get a BRZ over a GT86 they will hold there value much better being rarer,

In over 3 years when the Subaru's manufacturer's warranty has run out and the Toyota still has 2 years left....? Not so sure about that.

Edit: Just read Subaru have extended the BRZ warranty to 5 years. Wise decision.

A gt86/brz can't be much to insure with there not being that many on the road, it being quite new and not many being written off

Drove one GET ONE

Carl_Bennetts thats it ??? I pay 600f for my DC2 with 10 years of NCB :D

I have a test drive booked for a GT86 this weekend :)

It will be my second car, I've had a Zetec S for the last 3 years - no accidents, I've also driven 20,000 miles in the US in the last year and again no accidents so feeling confident about buying something a bit more powerful/cool.

I am really struggling with colours though; I do like a bright colour and personally think the Orange looks great - just wondering if it will dull/fade over a few years?

<trollmode>powerful?</trollmode>

I think they look good in most colours, personally it would be the orange for the Gt86 or blue for the brz.

Well, for me powerful coming from a 1.6 Fiesta! I'm not much of a petrol head though so under the bonnet is not so important - this seems like a fun drive and it looks good.

A 370Z was very high on my want list, but the cost of running it just too much on top - the insurance was also double the quote I had for the GT86!

Had a nose at a BRZ today the that blue, looked lovely.

Still not a fan of the wheels though

They're actually a nicely designed wheel. It's the combination of colour that ruins them:

Got my GT86 two weeks ago and coming from something with only 100bhp to this is a power upgrade. When I had my test drives I wasn't really sold on the car, yes it felt quick and went round corners well but it didn't feel like something I wanted to live with.

Bought it anyway and I don't regret it at all. Much better living with it than borrowing a dealer's one for 30 minutes a time.

Is advising a 21yr old who just passed his test to get a brand new relatively powerful RWD car with tyres designed to break traction a good idea? :D

Looks better in blue then I thought, but that Orange still calls my name!

You got any more pics, did you go with base model or get the upgraded seats/sat nav/rear parking or anything?

Packaging difficulties is a lie plain and simple.

MRT Australia are currently building BRZ with a supercharger and turbo charger... fits nicely :D
