I'm almost finished with my new gaming PC just waiting on some pic-e cables, but I'm having a huge struggle with which monitor to go with.

My PC is running 4670k and 780 sli.

Which monitor would be best with my system 24" 1080 120hz or 27" 1440?

Will only be used for games (mainly BF4) and browsing forums.

Thanks :)

I'm kinda thinking they will be just right for BF4.
Especially if this graph is anywhere near.

I think 780 sli will be wasted at 1080p even at 120hz, I have a 27" 120hz at the moment and just waiting on a replacement 1440p monitor so will be able to give a better opinion when ive tried both

Crysis 3 fully maxed out using Trisli Titans @ 1080

So depending on the games and the settings you choose to use

Sli 780's won't be overkill @ 1080

I was able to max out crysis 3 on a pair of 7970 easy at 1080p i could play max settings at 1400p with a single 7970 i dont know the fps and hadnt relised xfire disabled when i changed monitors but it played fine, my thoughts was a 780 would do quite a bit better than a 7970
