So I'm going to my first interview in a long time with Bose as a specialist support technician in the wireless/server based products. Really looking forward to the interview but I think this is my first "proper" interview, I'm at the 3rd stage now.

I always have problems with the "what can you bring to the company" questions.. I know plenty of things I could say, but not how toward it...

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

When they ask what can you bring to the company produce a glove puppet and say 'Mr Wibbles!' Then pretend you're the puppet and introduce yourself, use a weird voice for effect. They'll love it! Good luck!

Dress smart, that's obvious.

Practice responses to typical interview like questions, such as "Why are you interested in working for us", "Why are you leaving your current position", etc.

Come prepared with your own questions to ask at the end of the interview.

What time is the interview? Make sure you have breakfast/lunch before hand.

Wear a brightly coloured suit with a feather in your hat. Tell the boss man he's got to pay you more than his hoes back on the street, as you're pretty sure they're stealin' some of your cut, and you're gonna' have to make an example of one of them.

Then make a really sly reference about a horses head in his bed.

I would hire this man.

Coffee and doughnuts in the morning worked for me. ;)

Other than that enthusiasm, genuine interest, an open mind, positive outlook - all that touchy feely crap we like to hear.

If things get a bit dicey simply start to make a humming noise. When the interviewer asks what you're doing, raise the volume of your humming. Repeat until the noise is almost overwhelming, a crescendo of humming, and then stop.

'Bees,' you say.

Make good eye contact with the interviewer, may be do a little light flirting. Pehaps a bit of footsie under the desk. Also make it clear that should you get the job, it'll be there on a plate whenever he wants it.
