Do you think it would be dumb to ask this girl out, who works at the Pret near my work? I see her every morning nearly and I thought i could ask her to lunch or something? How would you go about it without coming across as being stupid?

Do people usually take what you say as you being stupid ? Why do you think she would you think you were being stupid. If you are good looking then it probably wouldn't matter what you say. If you are more liek me then you need to be incredibly witty and smooth and deliver the best few lines of flattery you can muster.

Maybe she seriously wanted in my pants but I suspect she was just being overly friendly or very bored and wanted someone to interact with for a few minutes to pass the time.
