Looks pretty cool and better than samsungs offering. Wonder if itll be better than cerberus? Should help insurances costs if its good enough.

Well we can live in hope. This will certainly help if you can password your bootloader .
Devices are getting so powerful. Ubuntu edge means everything you own on pc is portable.

Android Device Manager is already pushing now worldwide on all manner of devices. There is no apk associated with it and no new Play Store app either, seems to be an internal push update.

It wont be better than Cerberus for many reasons, but it still has the basic functionality which is useful for anyone with a smartphone!

go into settings > device administrators and untick android device manager. You could do the same with Cerberus though, and uninstall the app.
With Samsung Dive you could just remove the samsung account from settings > accounts so this isn't anything new.

I'd prefer something that renders the device useless, I don't want to just wipe it.
