Google to locate your stolen phone

go into settings > device administrators and untick android device manager. You could do the same with Cerberus though, and uninstall the app.
With Samsung Dive you could just remove the samsung account from settings > accounts so this isn't anything new.

Ah okay, I've not yet ticked it yet but can still locate the device just not wipe it.

Presumably as long as I have a pin lock or something like that then they can't get in to change it?

yeah, tbh I've not checked if you can even enable it without a pin set. I know our company wont allow you to have exchange configured on your phone without a pin set.

I forgot about that, but would not work for a tablet though (without mobile functions).

yeah, tablets are much harder to mis-place though. I doubt they're stolen as much as phones either.

Can`t for the life of me get ADM to "find" my phone, everything`s set as it should be and also re-set google play services as they say to do if you can`t see your device.

Yea,already made sure of that and location comes up fine in maps so my location`s being reported ok, just for what ever reason ADM doesn`t want to play ball.

Not working on my S4 and S1. It sees both phones but unable to locate, ring and wipe. Made sure every setting is ticked. Strange one...

Seems a bit hit/miss with the devices that it actually works with, seen people with the same model connected through the same network with one working and the other not. Other half`s G300 running CM10.1 connected and showed location straight away, but my Y300 will have none of it.
