I don't know either, it's absolute chaos there every year.

It's full of kids on Eid day. Yea, i too used to go Rusholme on Eid bouncing about and all sorts. But i've not been to Rusholme on Eid day about 7 years now.

You can't even drive through Wilmslow road. It'll be blocked off. Most side roads leading to Wilmslow road will be blocked as well.

Feel for you guys.. the lack of sex must have been harder than the lack of regular food.

Happy explosions

LOL just LOL, we arent banned from having sex during Ramadhan, just during our fasts. Once its broken we can have as much sex as possible as we like. i should know, ive been getting attacked by the missus every single night since ramadhan started as she wants me to get her pregnant asap :p

Once it is confirmed that Eid is tomorrow. Then yea its quite normal to have freinds and family over. But problem is, when you have been fasting for a month, is a change to the system.
So it takes another few days to get out of it. :(

Why does Eid need to be confirmed?
Is it not a solar/lunar based equation?

I live on Claremont road, one of the side roads leading right into the middle of Rusholme :D

The party has progressed to the "Honk your horn every 3 seconds phase". It's like a soothing kind of dubstep :p

I'm no expert, but as far as I'm aware it's based on the sighting of the new moon over Mecca, so they don't know the exact date until the day before or something.

I paid a visit to Rosholme last night around 1am. Few of us went there, for a meal. We were only around the corner (Trafford Centre)

It's not the same anymore. Not enough people. No atmosphere, nothing.

Eid Mubarak!!

Same length every year mate the start just start begins a few weeks or so earlier than the previous year that's why it goes from Winter to Summer etc.

:D :D :D :D

Thomas.

I am pretty sure it is not the same length, but for the next few years it will be because of summer time..
