Hi guys.
Can you be so kind and spec me a new PC?

I will be using SilverStone Lascala LC13E case, and dvd drive from my old pc.
I dont need monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS (will try Windows 8 for a month before buying).
Will use PC for gaming at 1080p, but want it to last 3-4 years if possible.

Want:
4670k (no point getting 4770k for gaming, right?)
Corsair H100i cooler (no referb as I want warranty, planning to adapt case to fit radiator in, possibly outside)
Nvidia 780, preferably with reference cooler. Open to suggestions, but card cannot be wider than 130mm. Will not fit the case.
250gb SSD (probably Samsung EVO?)
Not planning to go SLI route.

Cannot go over £1300.

Many thanks.
Hope my grammar isnt to bad, English is my second language and even after 12 years of living in England I often get my wife to check my spelling/grammar :D

Thank you mattdunnapoo.
Love the ASUS card you posted earlier, but the height it is 14.5 cm... My case allows for maximum of 135mm tall CPU coolers, so same goes for GPU.

Gainward looks good, will definately fit.

Would like backup HDD, but can get it later if not under £1300

Matt, the H100 won't fit in the case, there's no 120mm fan slots..

Thats my main concern Yevgeny, its all good fitting this equipment in the case but it will get very hot due to the airflow.

One think a lot of people do to improve the life of there rig is set it up to be overclocked, like i have done with my 2500k and GTX 570. An extra 10%-15% on my FPS easy. :)

Your overclocking potential in that case is very very limited.

Are you open to getting a new case? A standard tower type?

Hi Doomedspeed.

Im aware that H100i doesnt fit in by default :D
I stripped the case down (to upgrade USB 2 ports to USB 3) and if I don't fit optical drive in (don't use it really), the radiator will fit in at the front of the case. I may cut the panel behind the door a bit to improve the airflow. Or I may cut the side panel of the case to fit radiator outside.

Also this is one of the reasons I'm interested in the reference cooler design as it doest dump hot air in the case.

Im really keen to keep the case as it it currently sits under TV in the living room. If possible I want to avoid having PC tower in the living room, at the moment it is very discreet.

I will some post pictures of what I want to do with the case and where it sits when I get home.
Obviously if it doesn't work I may need a case :(

Thank you for your input guys.

At the moment tower case is not an option (I do like your choices btw).
What I will do is to try to use my old case. If not happy with result I will be back asking for a case suggestion :)

Here is how my pc placed, please ignore the tv :o it will be replaced :D
Stripped pc case, front panel, panel door.
Option 1 for radiator place.
Option 2 Think this one is the best option as air gets pushed out of the case unlike first option.

With that in mind would you agree that card with reference cooler design is better option?
I will skip HDD for now, as I don't need much storage and everything gets backed up to Dropbox. May get one later.
The case supports full size motherboard. Any reason I should consider smaller boards for this case? Would it help to keep things cooler?
Also I would prefer modular PSU.

Thank you.

Thank you Ethermaster.

After looking at other cases and seeing some case projects I'm thinking of having a go at making an acrylic one :p I have all the tools and machinery necessary at work. Plus we have already worked with some acrilyc. Just need to check the cost of material.

Can you guys recommend a Mini ITX motherboard?
Thank you
