**Alan Partridge is in Alpha Papa**

Anyone going to see it?

I am a bit apprehensive despite the reviews so far. The first series of Alan Partridge was one of the funniest things I have ever watched but the 2nd series wasn't a patch on it. Loved knowing me knowing you as well.
 
Went to see it last night, much better than I expected. I was expecting the World's End to be funny and this to have a few chuckles here and there. Completely the opposite - I would happily go see Alan Partridge again!

I wouldn't say I'm a massive fun. I enjoy some of the popular sketches on youtube (search for the chocolate mousses(sp?) one), but the film is definitely suitable for both fans and non-fans.

GO SEE IT!

Funniest sex scene ever!!
 
Very good film, incredibly subtle humor in certain places. A lot of laugh out loud moments.

The only gripe is that it's difficult to watch 90 minutes of Alan Partridge.
 
I'm a big fan of the TV shows and I thought it was a bit overrated after reading all the rave reviews. It just seemed to drag on in the middle really. Still quite funny, but not as good as I'd hoped.
 
Absolutely brilliant. Big AP fan so I was expecting a lot from this and it didn't disappoint.
Fun, fun, fun.
 
You have to applaud the fact they took the risk of turning a tv show into a full blown movie plot. I think it worked wonders
