There have been quite a few meets organised over the past couple of years, especially around London. Anyone interested in one around the East Midlands?

I'm based a fwe minutes from J25 of the M1. Anyone else local?
 
Not sure at the moment mate. Just trying to get an idea of possible numbers and who lives where.

Could do a day/night out in Nottingham?
 
Wollaton is a nice place to go
space to part, a nice cafe and its out the way and quiet. only 10mins from the motorway.

Yeah, that would be a great day location, especially if there are some photographers in the group. Guess it depends on what most people want to do. Quiet day out or beers o'clock.

LE for my sins! However, it's the nice part near the park lol.
 
I'm not a drinker, so going out for beers would be of absolutely no interest to me!

Now... a few board games, that's right up my street, and I'm more than happy to have some people over here for gaming sessions!
 
Possibly might be interested, depends a lot on time at the moment.

Might take you up on that at some point, or if people prefer neutral ground, CHimera in Beeston will let you use their tables for free depending on the day/time.
 
I think Cards Against Humanity would be likely to make an appearance if I were to get my way. :D

I've quite a collection of board games at the moment, so could definitely lug a bunch along with me.

Munchkin
Forbidden Island
Settlers Of Catan
Fluxx

And a couple of quick dice games:
Zombie Dice
Greed

But more is always great, been wanting to play a game of CAH!


Under no circumstances will games like Monopoly or Cluedo be played! :)
 
If i jump out my office window, run across the field, i'll be at J26 inside of 2 mins....heart and lungs willing.
It's great watching the traffic queue up when there's a pile up. :rolleyes:

Eclipse
Descent 2nd Edition
Earth Reborn
Mansions Of Madness & some of the expansions
Summoner Wars
Dominion (just the first set)

So we've definitely got a decent selection of the contrasting styles of games between us.
