Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. You should be able to run it on a mix of high/ultra with FXAA.
Assuming that's a 5870![]()
BF3 runs at default high settings at 1920x1080 at 35 - 60 fps in multiplayer with the spec in my sig, with him having a six core CPU he should be fine for high settings easily.
There's no x2 or x4 or x6 in the name (OP didn't put it), but 1055T is a x6/Hex Core.Sorry I thought his Cpu I'd a dual core? Hence the 2 in the name?
phenom IIThere's no x2 or x4 or x6 in the name (OP didn't put it), but 1055T is a x6/Hex Core.
phenom II
Medium/Low.
35 FPS is not acceptable in multiplayer and I would avoid any High settings at all.
It is confusing...
Its a Phenom II x 6 1055T (offical name)
Phenom is the series, II is the edition of the series, X6 is the cores (as thats how AMD did it then) and 1055T is the model.
Agreed, BF3 multiplayer is super taxing. High settings may struggle, you really want as close to (or over) 60 FPS as you can get.
hi guys thanks for reply yes it is phenom II 6 core @ 3.3ghz turbo and can go to 3.4ghz stable
ive also over clocked gpu slightly increased the gpu clock from 850 - 900mhz and memory clock from 4800 - 4900mhz
kinda getting mixed message's now should i run low -medium or medium- high , i am using a 22" wharfedale hd tv as monitor through vga and dvi on graphics card
hope this helps
You can try high but you may end up with 30-40 FPS in multi-player, so i'd opt for Medium. Though is there no harm in trying high, just don't be disspointed if it starts to chugg.![]()
