Is there anyway I can install some software or anything, to make my phone a bit more good looking? Bit bored of the standard setup now and the Play store doesn't offer anything really intresting. Willing to learn, read guides etc on how to install stuff. Hit me with any info please!

Are you using the stock launcher? Maybe give ADW launcher a try?

If you're willing to root, there's a lot of custom ROMS that can completely change the phone, but will wipe your data: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=765

Yeah im willing to do that. Wifi doesn't work on it anyway, so don't have many apps or anything.

Wifi doesn't work? Have you tried another wireless network or factory resetting? Does the mobile internet work?

Anyway there's loads of guides and stuff on XDA, might be worth poking around there for a bit and see if there's anything that interests you.

Yeah everytime I try and turn it on, just says Error. Not the network, the wifi literally is broken. And yeah mobile internet works. Ok will have a look around, it's a bit confusing though haha. Thanks!

Well that must be one heck of an annoying bug. Perhaps a firmware update or a custom ROM may be able to fix that, unless the wifi chip itself is faulty

Yeh it's very annoying lol. Just doing some google searches now to try and fix it, haven't really bothrered before. Might also start fiddling around with the rom's and all that. Thanks for the suggestions

You might find that installing a custom rom would fix the wifi issue, as I doubt it's hardware related

I installed a custom rom on my Desire HD a few months ago as I use it as a remote control. The thing flies with JB on it and brought new life to that old phone.
