I got my first car! And what a car!

Hey guys.

I am a huge Aircooled fan so this is my dream first car!

Its quite the car, not only does it look stunning but also goes like stink.

Unfortunatly there are a few misleading aspects on the car, the motor is infact a thurock motor with JMR heads NOT a full JMR motor, so the stickers will be comming off.

It is however a 1914cc Motor with a few modifications to it!

I need to do a bit of cosmetic work to her, I will be re-fitting the bumpers but they are getting a coat of black first.

Has potential but my god it looks foul. You need to take off those running boards, decals, and wheels immediately.
Fuchs wheels and lower it about a foot and the world will be a better place

I am going for performance/German look not Cal or Resto look.

Personally I really like the wheels, i think they are one of my FAV wheels of all time.

Insureance with all mods declared is £939 so not too bad.

At the moment she is a little strangled so only putting out around 100 HP. However Once I have uprated the carbs to some twin port weber 48's & a more powerful fuel pump I should be looking around 140-150.
Not bad for a car thats less than 800kg!

I like that a lot, but those wheels do not suit it one bit, its not there design, more they just dont fit! imo of course

the ride must be terrible?
