*** League of Legends ***

Hey all. I'm looking for a partner to DuoQ with. A reasonable amount of skill and knowledge is all that is really required! I'm currently stuck in bronze III and it does my head in how ridiculous the players are... I definately don't understand why I'm bronze after winning either 6/10 or 7/10 of my placement games and this is the first season I've played ranked in. Would love to get out of bronze and into silver...
 
Hey ollie, I'm up for some duoq. In my promo series for bz2 atm, having had a bad streak and going from promo to bz1 all the way down to bz3.

If you learn the basics vs bots then it's very noob friendly. If you enter a game without any bot practice(or relevant experience) expect some harrasment. The actual game is very easy to get into.
 
I wouldn't bother with bot matches (unless just using them to get an idea of how champion skills are used). Just play a lot of normal draft matches and ignore the inevitable flamers. After a few dozen games or so you will have a good understanding of the game.

Play against bots for your basic understanding of the game, last hitting/turret aggro and so on.

Read up on champions and what their abilities do, most important of all. Have fun!

If you do play normals and get flamed on for being a newbie, just ignore them. Which you can do by pressing tab in-game and highlighting the thumb besides their name.

No. I actually worded it in a way that it doesn't say that. I know a lot of people that really don't deserve to be Bronze...

And Tune... I play with my friends that are normal MMR'ed vs golds/diamonds/plats and ranked at gold in the game and I cope fine... League doesn't really mean anything especially when you consider there are pro players that have purposefully got themselves into bronze but with diamond MMR...

Played a few games with people against bots however I seem to get killed all the time and can't even figure out what the objective is in order to win a game...

If you don't understand the basics of the MOBA genre (how to win) then i suggest you do all 3 of the tutorials riot has to offer. The first one pop-ups on first login and the second 2 (battle training) are available from the play menu.
