Edifier R1600T OR Corsair SP2500

Hello

My friends Sp2200s died the other week and corsair is replacing them with the SP2500

he is not sure if he should sell them and then buy a pair of R1600Ts?

I'd love your option here guys.

Depends a bit on his main useage - as hes used to the SP2200s which are quite bias towards a lively high end he might find the flat response on the Edifiers takes a bit of adjusting to. SP2500 are very capable gaming speakers but if his useage is more general then the Edifiers might be a better option.

Mostly music and some gaming, it will be powered by my old Asus DGX

Tell them to listen to them first. They will want to keep them.
