Whats Your Favourite N64 Game?

Ocarina of Time will always be the one that's stuck with me like no idea.
Banjo Kazooie, Mario et all were all great though. Really ought to go back and try and play Jet Force Gemini again one day, I remember starting but not finishing it as I got stuck!

Goldeneye! bought it in '97 and we're still having weekly death matches. :P That and Mario Kart 64. I tried getting my crowd of mates into Perfect Dark when it came out but they never got into it so it's always Goldeneye. Everyone kneeling trying to kill you with the karate chop. :P

Solo play has got to be Pilot Wings and Wave Race. Absolutely timeless games.

Goldeneye for the mp. Proximity mines for the win.

YES YES YES

the level, water caverns i think, where i would place prox mines down the one way corridor and wait at the end for someone to get me, only works once, but satisfying

or putting them on top of where ammo boxes were to make em invisible

slappers only+one hit KO!

The first time you find the secret bits in the facility MP level

Ah, i might get it set up on the pc with the xbox360 controllers for multiplayer emulated fun!!

and the contradictory evaluations you sometimes got
most cowardly + most deadly
longest innings + shorteest innings :p

Ooo interesting opinion! How well would you say it holds up if i was to try and play it now for the first time? Its one i missed back in the day

There's a demo for it on xbox live, and having never played originally I'd say it holds up dreadfully now (I loved goldeneye in the day)

Favourite/timeless classic would have to be ocarina of time, possibly even major as mask that was fantastic playing it on win for the first time.

That's one of the things that hold Ocarina of Time up to me now, even 15 years later, it's STILL a good game, as confirmed by my playthrough of OOT3DS last year.

Some games like Goldeneye just don't hold up in the same way.

Yup I'm sure most agree (the n64 pad is dreadful too =p). This thread has given me the motivation to sell all my old n64, game cube, dc, mega drivegames for money's knowing there's a big market out there!

I'd say Goldeneye straight away just for the sheer enjoyment I got out of it.
Ocarina of Time, WWF No Mercy, Mario Kart and Lylat Wars were also great games that offered so much to me!

Oh and Original Smash Bros!
