I had 2 x 780 installed and left machine transcoding video. Came home to machine powered down and this when I start up

Its covered with warranty whatnot its just the inconvenience of shipping and waiting for the replacement so I had a closer look at the card.
Its the same Evga 780 as my second card but they have 2 different bios revisions the goosed one is bios version 80.10.3A.00.82 but cannot get it to boot to windows and am assuming it would void the warranty if I flashed it with the bios from the other card.

So my question is does anyone have the 80.10.3A.00.82 bios version for an evga gtx 780 I might be able to save myself £30 mailing cost and a few weeks without the card which would be good because I have all my gear piled up ready to go water and cannot do a thing until this is sorted.

Any advice would be welcome :(

Does the EVGA rep still visit here. Could ask him to email said bios

Have a read of this, it looks like you may need to update the bios.

Evga allow you to flash the bios as long as if you have to return it you put the original one back on.

Thanks for that will have a read and take a look for the evga rep

Why'd you think it's BIOS related?
Just looks like a card's snuffed it.

In truth I have no idea I just assumed what with the corrupted signal, have checked cable and tested everything I could think of

Hi,

if it is about technically or support questions best is to get in contact with us at [email protected] or contact us at the EVGA Sticky here in the forums.
A Bios can get corrupted or do not match, with a SLI System it is worth to give it a try but it is most likely that the card is faulty.
