hanging bag with 360degree clearance?

Ok I need a free hanging bag frame with a 360 degree clear area to work with. Need something heavy that doesn't move to practice my kicking on. Also needs to hold a 65kg bag.

Been considering buying scaffolding and creating a cross and hanging the bag from the intersection. However looking at £200+ for the tube alone (damn delivery!).

I cannot hack the normal bag stands as they are not very stable despite putting numerous weights on so looking for something a bit more extreme.


Does anyone know of a solution?

A 4 foot wall arm no good? or a ceiling hook. just make sure it goes into a joist!

Just use a wall arm. I've not had an issue practising kicks against it, sure not as ideal as the bags at my club but good enough for practising at home.

The other option is to put a cross bar or ceiling hook in somewhere structured.

solution 1:

free standing bag, wavemaster are the best and you want to go for the XXL

you then need to fill the base with sand and water (using just 1 of them isn't enough to make it 100% rock solid)

not cheap though and is only really useful for kicking, not a "punch" bag
