When I was in atlanta city I stayed in this weird place and there was an aussie guy and somw gay guy. We were having a meal and the aussie guy sounded like he was about to get up and kill the gay guy. Like all out if nowhere he got hyper aggressive, shouting you ******* fag better not come near me you queer etc. I was a bit shocked but didn't do anything
You can back up your opinion that his opinion is wrong? Do you know what opinion means?
He doesn't agree with homosexuality, but does not wish harm to those who practice it. What's wrong that? I personally have no time for golf or the people who spend inordinate amounts of time hitting a tiny ball into a tiny hole, far, far away. I don't wish them stoned to death either. Am I wrong?
Everyone should just butt (snarf) the **** out of other people's lives, be it religion, politics or sexuality.

As per the above poster, you cannot back up an opinion in any meaningful way. There are facts and there are opinions, and never the twain shall meet.
WTF, what the heck to you think homosexuality is such that one can "practice" it? Do you you practice heterosexuality but choice in the same way you practice football on a Sunday afternoon?
People don't choose the color of their skin or eyes, the location of their internal organs, their gender, whether they have curly hair, have freckles or their sexuality!
Intelligent people base their opinions on facts though!
Why do you practice having only 2 yes and 2 aromas, why don't you practice having 4 eyes and 4 arms, it's way better you know! Of that's right, you didn't choose to have only 2 of each, you were just born that way. To bad for you you can't choose to practice being quadra-focal!

It's pathetic that you think people are entitled to have their opinions, unchallenged, despite how moronic those opinions are. If someone has the opinion that flying pigs are circling their house, is that to be respected?
You can have your own opinion, but if its a stupid one you should be embarrassed to have it, ridiculed and made to feel bad for having it.

What are the facts of this issue then? There is very little factual evidence to support either position on the matter of homosexuality. It's very much a question of ethics and morality and nothing fact based.
The ethics and morality of homophobia do not stand up to scrutiny on any level. It is why the gay rights movement has gained so much traction and people trying to deny gay people their rights or who "disagree with their lifestyle" are seen as so backwards now that the debate has been had and the homophobes have lost it hands down repeatedly over and over.

It's not your attempt to challenge his views I take exception with, but the rude manner in which you do it.
If you cannot challenge his views in an intelligent and reasonable manner, I'd suggest that you are the one worthy of scorn and ridicule.
Seen as 'backwards' by whom? Certainly not the Russians. Are you so arrogant that you assume yours is the right view of the world?

So what? many countries do far worse to gays than Russia but you wont boycott them. West and their double standards, if this was the Saudi's they wouldn't batter an eyelid.
