Hi all

I recently switched from T Mobile to Vodaphone, setting up the new account was easy and it got delivered pretty fast yesterday. But it's been a nightmare since, the phone seems to work (S4 Mini) but most of the time I can't make calls or texts despite having full signal or receive them, some go through but it seems totally random. Their website seems to be under maintenance, with important pages not working and I can't set up my online account as when I do what it says (Text "account" followed by your post code) It replies I'm "Not due for an upgrade" ?????? Because of this I can't bring over my old number and my new phone is useless, starting to wish I didn't switch now as I never had any problems with T Mobile. Rant over, anybody got any suggestions?

this is the same situation i was in

they havent updated their system with your account info yet so you cant text them to get your account number

call them up, ask them for the account number, put it into the website - bingo :)

It was when I was trying to create a account and tracking my order where it was not working and when I did finally make one, some of the links didn't seem to work on the My account page. I am going to contact support when I get home anyways but what I really wanted to know is anybody else on Vodaphone having signal problems?

I'm with Vodafone, live in Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffs in the midlands and have no problems with calls or text.

Register for your "My Account" stuff here:-

Have you got your account number on any of the documentation they sent you (or gave you at the store)?

I did sign up for my account in the end, just the links they gave did not work. I got my phone from their online store and all they sent me was the sim card. I'm not sure if they are posting me other details or not, they also did not email me it, I'll have to find out tonight when I ring customer support.

Been with vodafone for about 8 years now. Never had a problem until 4 months ago changing my Direct Debit from 30th of the month to the 20th.

I can 100% say i will not be with Vodafone for my next contract. The customer service is shocking. Yes you can get through quite quick unlike other providers but the person on the other end know as much to do with service as a banana hammock.

For further help with the network side of things there's a troubleshooting guide on their eForum here.

If things remains unresolved it may be worth emailing their Web Relations Team via their Contact us form here.

To make sure it reaches them you'll just need to quote the code WRT135 in the subject line.

Hope this helps.

i had a lot of issues when i signed up with vodafone. I was disgusted by the service and behavior and the cooling off period. of course, the disgusting services occured straight after the cooling off period so I couldn't get out of my contract so I had to fork upfront to get out of it.
