So got one of the above two days ago pic here

23k miles, sat nav, bose sound system, leather seats all round, electric mirrors, auto climate control. And a few other buttons.

And now the Mrs has just taken it out after driving a clapped out old R reg clio for the last god knows how long.

What damage do I expect to see on the car when she comes home? :S

ohh edit: she's horrendous at driving btw!

Well that didn't take long, she has returned home, saying she feels like a new driver again. Looked outside, parked like a lunitic, would need a taxi to the curb!

So got in it, hmm nice smell of clutch burn!!!
 
So mod #1 will be a K&N Induction kit, Clive from Racingbeats EU reckons it'll fit, It's was built in Sep 2009, lets hope so.

I Like the noise from big intakes. Possibly looking at a better exhaust (not a silly bin sized one) soon, and further down the line getting it re-mapped. We shall see!

Am confused is this a "look at my new car" thread or is it a "look what my wife is going to break" thread? From the sounds of things modding its a waste of money if the other half is going to ruin it?

She'll be fine, she took it out again today and was ok. But then again, she could walk to her work, but just refuses to!!

ohh and thanks.
 
Not sure I'd bother with the modifying. A map isnt likely to get many more bop for the money (assuming 2.0 na),

Should have gone for an MPS though :)

Edit, bop? Bhp. Damn iPad.

Your probably right, but i'm gonna give it a go anyway ;)
MPS would be ideal, but then again, I'd love an RX-7, but she wouldn't have that either. See who's the boss here!
