im playing supreme commander and sins.

can anyone point me in the direction of a few other good games.

i have 30 quid in my steam wallet and its burning a hole.

Shogun 2, fall of the Samurai expansion. It's EPIC!!

Watching hundreds of guys fighting in forests, all the smoke from the rifles fogging up the battlefield, the distant crack of cannon fire and the thud seconds later as it lands.

I don't even mind losing, I just love watching it!!

haha i seen you playing away on that earlier.

did you "just" get sins?

i paid 29.99 a couple of days ago! ragin, its down to 7.49!!!

Yeah, got it for £7.49. Don't like it :( Was expecting something more like Homeworld, it's not even similar. It makes me sad :(

It's probably just too deep for me :p

I haven't really played any RTS properly since Total Annihialation. :/

I find that RTSs tend to be mental overload and I'm generally pants at them. Too much going on at the same time. :p

I do fancy the look of Divinity: Dragon Commander, though.

My RTS interests have been consumed with playing and watching Starcraft 2, I dip into old favourites like early C&Cs and Supreme Commander but they just don't feel as solid and diverse as SC2, I find the gameplay ends up too linear and predictable. Although SupCom has a more epic, large scale feel to it which I enjoy.

I know you said RTS but have you tried turn-based such as Galactic Civilization 2? It has a similiar concept as Sins with more freedom to move around space, and very intelligent AI.

Wargame Airland Battle, but I'm just about the only one, which is a joke. Sorely underrated game.

Not just you me too. Wargame: Airland Battle is just about my favourite RTS ever. I love the tactical depth, the lack of reliance on APM, the balance, and of course my Burrito!
