A 2 lite bottle cut in half is almost the same size as a roof tile anyway if not bigger

There's nothing wrong with the idea or the person using it but he is not creating light and he did not invent using water to reflect/refract light like the article claims.
people have been doing the same thing for hundreds of years

anyway plastic tiles made from water bottles wouldn't need to refract the light and they are simple to replace it's not like there's a shortage of plastic bottles, it seems like a far more convenient solution to me
