Hi! My name is actually Chris but that matters not as all you care for is the volume of liquid that will fill my undies when I play this game and the consistency of solids that keep my arse warm.

I have no plans Sunday 18th August from 4pm onwards and from a selection of 'votes', the above game was chosen for me to play by you guys. Thanks guys...

"So, who cares?", well, I don't know, I don't read minds. But what might make this interesting is I will be live streaming the game play with live commentary, well, live screams and whimpers from a fully grown child.

I should let you know, I get scared very easily, I still don't like the dark, I freak out if I stand in front of the fridge for too long with the kitchen light off. I often panic and open my soap covered eyes and feel the back of my head (thanks Grudge...). But worst of all, amongst all these silly fears is my fear of anything psychological. I hate psychological thrillers. Such as the recent film The Fourth Kind. I'm that much of a wuss :(

So when you guys suggested for me to play this game, which I have avoided through multiple Steam sales regardless of temptation, I thought why not.

I will post links in the OP at the end of today with my live stream channel and I will be testing so I would much appreciate some feedback on quality of sound and video. I will keep a tablet close to me to view comments from time to time whilst in game.

I will NOT play Amnesia until Sunday, I have yet to purchase it! I will test with other games and only buy Amnesia on Sunday.

The event is 18+ only as I will be no doubt swearing a lot!

This is going to suck. I hope you lot will be entertained...

The wife and I played this on Halloween with the lights out.

We both love horror etc but the first two sections **** us up no end!

Good luck......

You gonna die on camera, bro

Wonderful... I'm going to have the curtains drawn (blackout curtains) and the lights off... Headphones on.

Anyone know how long the game takes to complete? I'm a bit of a completionist so will look in all nooks and crannies, if I'm able to cope and not just leg it.

I reckon about 6/7hrs without a guide.

It's mostly puzzle elements which you can get stuck on.

Don't worry, it's not scary really (lol).

Ah, might have to be 2 parts then... Maybe finish if I play none stop until late night Sunday.

Fourth Kind is freaky kind of film...scared the bejesus outta me especiallty this bit....

The bit where she has been listening to the tapes (interviews or whatever) and she leaves the tape running after the dialogue has finished and she then hears herself literally SCREAMING her face off...."imagine most horrible pain type scream and your halfway there"...

However i dont really find Amnesia that scary because imho its very similar to penumbra games (same developer) and the scare tactic is the same.
