£400 budget gaming build

Hey all, I just need some help putting together a build as close to budget as possible.

Okay so I already have a case, harddrive, moniter, mouse/keyboard and OS. I'm just looking for the main components. I'd prefer an intel spec, preferably I5

Any help is appreciated!

What case do you have?
Need to know what will fit and what won't.

An i5 is going to be difficult for £400 especially with a GPU as well to do moderate gaming.

What games do you play?

I have an atx case, do you need the exact model?

I thought that would be an issue, so as close to 400 as possible, i can stretch if needed

Hmm games such as Wow, bf3, d3, metro, fc3

Very nice, i'd personally get a 500W PSU though, only £10 more.

I actually had the Corsair 500W unit originally, but took it out to try and keep to his budget. But as he said he can stretch a bit, it would make sense to spend the extra tenner.

You would rather Intel, but for the games you've mentioned and budget AMD may be worth considering:
