Needing suggestions for phones that I can pick up over the weekend, or can order online tonight for Monday arrival!

I dont even know budget, I would be willing to spend £250 as I was thinking of spending this on the Moto X (which isnt UK) or holding out for the new Nexus.
I'd be willing suggestions on any sort of budget up to that amount.

My broke phone is the Huawei G300 and while it was suppose to be best value for money I found it awful software wise and kept crashing and freezing and going on go slows so looking to move back to a better make.

edit: Should have said should work on o2 and I have £50 quid saved up in the cashback thingy if that helps with the suggestions :P

Then you really need to look at the S3 or second hand phones. What do you have on the phone anyway? 90% of my content is in the cloud now.

Ah, how much are you paying monthly? Giff Gaff and Three do unlimited data for sub £15 a month.

All my music is on Google Play, I just stream it to my device when needed so storage isn't a concern. Saying that I don't use many apps.

£15 a month, "unlimited data" and unlimited txts then the £15 remaining left over, i usually whack on extra data for £6 or something. Then I usually use up my remaning credit after near the end of the month.
I know the last time o2 spoke to me they couldnt better it.

Personally I'd make the switch then put your music to Google play. Unless you would tether? Three include tethering in their £15 SIM free plan IIRC.

What's tethering? I'm really old school when it comes to phones, up untill a few months a go I kept all contacts on sim card, so it was like
friend
friend home
friend mum

Which reminds me anyway I can access my contacts? It appears they (or I) never synced them.

I'm keeping my eye out on a black s3 on ebay ending tonight.

If your contacts are on your sim card, just put that into yjr new phone and let Google import them.

Tethering is where you use your phone as a modem for a laptop etc. So if you travel a lot you can browse the net on a laptop or other device using your phones internet connection.

D'oh silly me on tethering! Used to only use it when I had my netbook.

Sadly not, as said started to copy things over to my phone to use the more advance contact features.

And Black sIII bought from ebay, £215 and ordered a flip case for it, the type that replaces the back cover

Your not supposed to tether with giffgaff but I think most do. I tether to my computer and tablet. Use around 7-9 gig and month with no issues.

I just get the £12 goody bag.

Not a bad deal from 3 either because with giffgaff you can get barred if caught tethering.

Y300 which is the next step up from the G300 is like £70.

I never had any of the issues you had with the G300, but i was using special chinese firmware and a decent Custom ROM, not CM which is too advanced for the phone.

Save them to your Google account instead of the phone/SIM and your contacts will be backed up on the cloud ;). Then your contacts will automatically sync to any device connected to your Google account.
