Heeeello.

After seeing the Fat deals on the AMD cards, i fancy sticking another one in.

I currently have a Gigabyte windforce x3 with an Asrock 990fx extreme4.

I currently have that slapped in the top x16 PCI-e slot. And plan to stick a new MSI TF3 Second PCI-e slot.

A couple of bits.

Anyone Xfired A windfroce and a Twin Frozr?

The space between the two cards will be 3 slots. I cant seem to find a bridge to fill that anywhere. do ocuk sell them?

Will it run ok on my XFX 650W PSU?

Specs:
AMD Piledriver 8350 @stock (have had it up to around 4.8Ghz, i do plan to OC it again.)
Asrock 990Fx Extreme4
16GB Corsair XM3
Gigabyte Windforce3
XFX 650w PSU

I have 2 DGM 27" 1440p jobbies and having the two DVI-D Ports would be handy.

Suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

See you have 2x1440p, I only game at 1080p and cant justify xfire 7950 but I so want to do it. I hate being old and sensible. :D

Running those 2 cards in Xfire atm, found the MSI got hot and loud as the first card, but swapped them over and the Windforce is doing a fine job with the MSI in support. Don't know about the PSU, running an XFX 750w myself.

Perfect. Cheers guys. I had a little poke around. Apparently the suggest 700w for xfire, so I'll keep an eye on mine.

Hopefully the 3 land jobby will give it a bit more air to play with. Nice one. Cheers.

On my setup even with things overclocked, cpu @4.8ghz and gpu's at 1100/1500 in sleeping dogs ive not seen over 550w.

Tbh I wouldn't bother chucking another card in with an AMD CPU.... Massive waste of GPU power as they can't drive them to full capacity in a very large percentage of games.

I was just playing sleeping dogs now. I was slightly wrong in my figures. With my cpu at 4.8ghz with HT and my gpu's at 1100/1500 @1.175v i was pulling 650Watt from the wall. This was on Sleeping Dogs Extreme preset 1440p with both gpu's pegged at 99%. My gpu's were both up at 80c as well. Its rare for any game to make my cards this hot. Extreme SSAA is brutal on the gpu's.
