Where is this happening. The only team we know have done this are Liverpool but they are arguably in a unique position of having a chance to revive the club and push for CL football again this season. Suarez could be key to that and his value won't drop that much next season / he might stay again.

Spurs and Bale we have no real idea what Madrid have offered. All we hear is speculation and rumours, player swaps etc.

The top clubs simply don't have to sell so when you offer peanuts for players like Fabregas its no surprise then rebuff it. Its all a balance.

Does the player want to leave
Have the club got players coming through
Do they need the money
How much would a replacement be
Have they got replacements lined up
Is the window nearly closed
What are their targets this season and how much are they worth in monetary terms
Is the person bidding a rival
Will he be worth more or less in a seasons time

There are so many considerations that its hard to pick the exact reasons for a players sale.
 
Cabaye would be unreal for Arsenal. He had a storming first season, to show off what he was capable of. He was looking for a move, we kept him after we probably promissed him more than the club could actually deliver, since we finished 5th!

Now he realises what the club are actually capable of, he wants out again. And why not!

Cabaye giving 100% in his preferred role higher up the pitch would do a lot of damage.

PMSL another youngster??, probably wont even get into the reserves or youth team.

Carry on Arsenal/Wenger, just sign up all those youngsters who will never amount to anything:p...meanwhile watch how our season goes down the toilet :/

Certainly the latter (there were rumours Moyes was a bit suspicious about Thiago handling the EPL, but I never saw a direct quote)

Totally agree that its more Gill we are missing than Fergie with lack of signings

Personally I would say Fabio and Buttner are back-ups only and not suitable for 1st team (in major Europe /EPL ) games , and not even close to that level - Im guessing you arent thinking of anyone else? Im not saying sell either of them (maybe Buttner to go out on loan to see if Fabio can push on in sub apps and cup games etc) - but imo we do need a 1st team left back who can join in the attack but not leave the back line gaping (which Evra was guiilty of a few times last season. Baines is also a good free kick /corner taker which should allow RvP to be in the box instead of taking the ***** things lol.

o dear I think this bid has really ****ed off Newcastle and on a match day also.

What was the point?

That offer will only harden Newcastle Resolve and if you are really interested in him drive his price up.

With PSG's public love for the player there was no way Newcastle where going to accept 10m
