Been a while since I read it but thought it might be a Good to discuss! What did you all think? (Assuming that you've read it..)
One of the best books he's written in recent years, it's right up there with his 70's and 80's classics. The nineties were pretty hit and miss and then he got better again after his accident. Except for the Dark Tower books, Duma Key is my favourite King book of the decade. I thought it made a nice change to not be based in or around Maine, which makes sense because he spends his winters down in Florida, so he's still writing about an area he knows intimately.
Except dark tower book 6 was awful as was most of 7 and then there's that ending.
You're making me sad as I'm just starting the series!![]()
It's supposed to be his best work in his opinion, and a lot of King fans seem to love the series (I heard the last book is supposed to be the best too!)
