OP best bang for buck out of the two of them and it would win in every game and benchmark @1080p is the 2gb MSI lightning.
Having said that if you do want something with more vram get a HD 7970
4gb NVidia cards don't perform as well as their 2gb brothers when it comes to overclocking.
