It's also Bronze rated, so bit better efficiency.

Nah, over 80% efficiency is the same as bronze rated.

Ha, well there's 2% - but this isn't 80 plus rated. It's rated at over 80 but can't get an official rating as it doesn't work in the US.

Though the jonnyguru site gives the OCZ a very good score, and that's probably the best PSU review site. So I'll change my suggestion to that. Just don't tell Potty.

People say you get slightly higher frame rates. You'll also get DX 11.1 with AMD cards.

There are better Psus for a similar price and have longer warranty.

jonnyguru's the better review site than techpowerup when it comes to PSUs.

I'd prefer a better PSU like XFX or Be Quiet, but it's hard to get 550-600W for low cost.

This Corsair is the cheapest 550+ I'd consider myself, but I don't rate Corsair CX:

Agreed, but this is the best priced decent 550w on OCUK at the moment and the budget is fairly tight.

500w would probably be fine, but 550w just gives more room for upgrades later on and should handle most single GPU's.

The next step up for me would be the 600W Modular Corsair at £60.
